Food Drive-Scout Pickups

A reminder the local Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts hold their 27th annual door-to-door food pickups Saturday in Winona, Goodview, Minnesota City and Rollingstone in connection with the Minnesota March Foodshare food drive.
Spokesman LeRoy Czaplewski says the scouts are asking that bags of a variety of non-perishable food be left outside residences by 10:00 a.m. Saturday in a place that can be seen by the scouts as they move through the neighborhoods.
Food should be in solid containers like boxes or glass containers which can break during transport.

The food will be delivered to Winona Volunteer Services.

Donations of both food and cash can also be dropped off at Volunteer Services at 402 East Second Street during regular business hours.
