Winona Senior High School will host a unique event April 19th through the 23rd.
iCan Shine, a volunteer led group that teaches recreational skills to individuals with disabilities, will hold a iCan Bike camp that week.
Winona State University student and volunteer, Gabey Davis, says the camp will enable students with disabilities to receive positive encouragement and guidance from well-trained, energized instructors.
Davis says the success rate is about 80-percent as far as teaching the kids how to ride a conventional two-wheel bicycle and some take a little longer than than others.
Registration for this after-school bike program is open to residents of Winona Area Public School District only. For information on this bike camp please e-mail email@example.com.
