A Harmony company is among the first company's in Minnesota to receive an award from Minnesota's new Job Creation Fund created by the state legislature last year. Harmony Enterprises will receive up to $215,000 to expand their current operation in Harmony by adding 14 full-time, permanent jobs and investing about 1.1 million dollars. Harmony Enterprises manufactures waste compactors and recycling balers providing worldwide waste management and and recycling solutions. The Minnesota Job Creation Fund is a new 24-million dollar program approved by the 2013 legislature and signed by Governor Mark Dayton. The first round of project awards totals 2.27 million dollars and will assist five companies in creating 240 jobs.
