The Winona County Board of Commissioners will hold a closed meeting Tuesday morning for preliminary consideration of possible allegations against Winona County Administrator Duane Hebert who was placed on paid administrative leave on Wednesday.
The county is facing a possible lawsuit over a proposed renewable energy project where a company alleges the county gave proprietary information to another competitor.
Hebert said, in a statement, the upcoming closed meeting may be about his wife's employment with that company and he said his rights to due process have been violated.
The closed meeting will be at the County Government Center following the board's regular meeting that starts at 9:00 a.m.
The regular meeting will involve a discussion of the board's 2014 goals and the designation of a county data privacy officer.
The 9:00 a.m. meeting is open to the public.
