West Salem Referendum

In addition to county, municipal, and town board elections in Wisconsin Tuesday voters in the West Salem school district will decide a $32,000,000 bond referendum.

The district is seeking the funds to construct a new middle school to house students in grades four through eight.

A second question on the ballot would allow the district to exceed its revenue limit one time for security improvements at the elementary school.

If both questions are approved, the district says property taxes would go up about $75 per $100,000 in home value.
