State Senator Jeremy Miller has released the results of his constituent survey and says there were some surprising findings.
On the subject of raising the minimum wage, 35-percent of the respondents from Fillmore, Houston and Winona Counties favored keeping it at $7.25 an hour while just 21 percent favored raising it to $9.50 an hour for all employees.
Miller says that's a different result than he expected.
64-percent of the respondents favored allowing liquor stores in Minnesota to be open on Sundays
A majority of 53-percent were against raising the gas tax by 5-cents a gallon for highway and bridge needs.
And on the subject of MNsure, the health insurance marketplace, 40-percent of the respondents said they felt MNsure has performed very poorly and has not guaranteed better quality or lower rates.
