Hebert Investigation

The Winona County Board Tuesday will be asked to approve an agreement with the Twin Cities law firm of Lockridge, Grindal,and Nauen to conduct an independent investigation into a solar panel project.

Under the proposed agreement, the county would pay lead attorney Charles Nauen $295 an hour. The firm discounts its rates for government representation.
County Administrator Duane Hebert and Sustainability Coordinator Anne Morse are currently on paid administrative leave in connection with the solar panel project investigation.

 Also on the board's agenda, recognition of a Winona County Sheriff's deputy, Rod Hanson, who is retiring.

The Tuesday meeting is open to the public at the County Government Center at 9:00 a.m.
