As the Minnesota legislature heads into its 10-day Easter-Passover recess this weekend, Winona Senator Jeremy Miller says he is pleased that some of his top priorities this session are being met.

Miller says a five-percent salary increase for workers serving the disability community has been approved and is heading to a conference committee.

The senate has also approved funding designed to help Minnesota settle an income reciprocity dispute with Wisconsin providing one million dollars a year.

Right now there is a six million dollar difference with Wisconsin balking at paying half that difference to reestablish the agreement.
