Cotter Offense Struggles In Loss To Fillmore Central/Lanesboro



The Cotter softball team had just three hits Thursday and lost to Fillmore Central/Lanesboro 4-0.  The Ramblers had scored 20 runs in their first two games of the season.  Katie Nachtigal had two of the Ramblers' three hits and she is now 8-11 at the plate in the first three games.  Cotter drops to 1-2.
               
In area softball action, Lewiston-Altura beat Southland 7-3, Rushford-Peterson knocked off Dover-Eyota 8-5, Wabasha-Kellogg wins against Chatfield 3-1, St. Charles slipped by Grand Meadow/LeRoy-Ostrander/Kingsland 5-4, Houston lost to Pine Island 1-0 in eight innings and G-E-T pounded Onalaska 10-0 in five innings.  C-FC suffered its first loss of the season falling to Blair-Taylor 5-3.
