Cotter High School has announced that 62 graduating seniors will share in nearly $355,000 in scholarships.
The funds come from the Hiawatha Education Foundation and the four-year scholarships can be used for Cotter grads to attend the college or university of their choice.
Since 1990, the Hiawatha Education Foundation has donated over 10-million dollars in scholarships to Cotter seniors.
The funds must be used for education-related expenses at American colleges and universities over the next four years.
All Cotter graduates are eligible for a four-year renewable scholarship and awards are based on several criteria, including academic achievement, leadership, and participation in school activities.
