Since the new Job Creation Fund was launched in January, Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development officials have approved funding for eight Minnesota expansion projects that are expected to create 435 jobs in the next few years.
Assuming those companies hire the promised number of workers and meet other performance criteria, they will be eligible for $4.2 million in funding from the Job Creation Fund.
