The Winona State football team has made four additions to its 2014 recruiting class, adding a trio of linemen and a junior college tight end. One of the four additions is a local athlete in Rushford-Peterson defensive lineman Cale Stensgard. Stensgard was an all-state defensive lineman for Rushford-Peterson while also earning the Southern Football Alliance Blue Division Lineman of the Year award. Also signing letters of intent for the Warriors were Defensive linemen Wyatt Franzen of Antigo, Wisconsin, offensive lineman Jack Vasko of Stillwater and tight end Lorenzo Mitchell of Chicago, Illinois. Mitchell spent last season at North Dakota State College of Science where he was a member of both the football and basketball teams. The four signees join 32 players who signed to play at Winona State in February.
