The Winona County Board of Commissioners will hold a closed-door meeting next Tuesday, May 6th, to discuss the investigation of two county employees regarding a solar panel project.
The board will also discuss strategy in the threatened litigation by Novel Energy Systems involving the solar energy project.
The closed meeting will come during the board's regular meeting at the County Government Center which starts at 9:00 a.m.
County Administrator Duane Hebert and Sustainability Coordinator Anne Morse have been on paid administrative leave while a Twin Cities law firm has been conducting the investigation into their involvement in the proposed project.
During the open session, the board will discuss a design fee for the heating and air conditioning replacement project for the Government Center and hear a presentation from the St. Charles Food Shelf.
The board will also discuss some potential disciplinary action.
