The Winona County Sheriff's Department is investigating a burglary at the Elba Co-op Creamery that was reported early Thursday.
Chief Deputy Ron Ganrude said entry was gained by removing a screen on a window. He said the burglar had also tampered with two other screens.
Over $600 in currency was discovered missing from a locked cabinet. Ganrude said the burglar left behind checks and some coins.
The breakin was reported at 7:09 a.m. Thursday.
