The National Train Day will be held on Saturday, May 10th, at the Winona Amtrak Station located at 65 East Mark Street.
There will be an open house from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and refreshments will be served.
People are invited to come and learn about the nationally registered depot building and the importance of the history of the 5 railroads that serviced Winona at one time.
Winona Mayor Mark Peterson will give a welcome from the City of Winona. Bill Spitzer will talk on behalf of the Minnesota High Speed Rail Commission and Greg Gaut will talk about the history of the depot building.
