Winona State University invites the public to join them for four community receptions to meet the candidates for Vice President for University Advancement and Executive Director of the WSU Foundation.
The top candidate will replace Jim Schmidt, who last year left to become the chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
The receptions will be held at the Winona County Historical Society each afternoon, Monday through Thursday, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Monday, May 12th, the first candidate, Dennis Cooley, is scheduled to visit. Cooley is curently employed at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville as assistant chancellor for university advancement and director of the college's foundation.
The second candidate, Ernie Troy Hughes, will be in town Tuesday, May 13th. Hughes has been with the Southern University System in Louisiana for the past two decades, where is currently director of community economic development.
John Mosser willl visit the campus and be featured at the community reception, Wednesday, May 14th. Mosser is currently the interim vice president for institutional advancement at Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire.
Thursday, May 15th, Robert Giere, will be in Winona. Giere, since 2004, has been development officer and director of alumni philanthropy at Mayo Clinic.
