Winona Health celebrated receiving the Minnesota Performance Excellence Award by holding a public open house last Tuesday.
PEM President, Brian Lassiter, says the award is based on the Malcolm Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence, which is the highest state quality award an organization can attain.
Lassiter says the annual award is already an elite honor to receive and Winona Health has achieved a level only 15-percent achieve.
Winona Health is one of only two Minnesota organizations to receive the award this year. The award goes to organizations, including healthcare, business, education, manufacturing and non-profits...that build networks and best practices to identify strengths and improve opportunities.
