The Winona City Council meets Monday and the city's independent auditor will present the City's 2013 financial reports.
The reports include the Comprehensive Annual Financial report as well as the schedule of expenditures of Federal awards and the Independent Auditor's report.
The city's Finance Department will also be awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. The Certificate is a National Award which recognizes comformance with the highest standards for preparation of state and local government financial reports. On average, only about 11-percent of the cities in Minnesota receive the award.
The council meets at City Hall Monday at 6:30 p.m. and the public is welcome to attend.
