City Council-Dahl Move

Following a public hearing Monday, the Winona City Council unanimously approved a request from Dahl Automotive to rezone some property along Highway 61 to permit a move from downtown Winona.

Dennis Meyer, board member of the Winona Chamber of Commerce, told the council he and the Chamber supports the rezoning of the 3.4 acres of land currently occupied by the Cornerstone Church.

Lake Boulevard resident, Norm Kostuck Jr., spoke out about lighting concerns in the nearby neighborhood.

Dan Swift representing Dahl Automotive says the company will install L.E.D. lighting that will help and they plan to update their phone systems so they no longer have to use a loud speaker on their car lots.
