A Zumbro Falls man has announced he will run for Wabasha County Sheriff.
Scott O'Hara will oppose current Sheriff Rodney Baertsch who filed Tuesday for re-election. O'Hara has 27-years in law enforcement including stints with the Anoka County Sheriff's Department, the St. Paul Police Department and the Coon Rapids Police Department. The last 13 years he has worked with the St. Paul Police Department.
Also filing for re-election Monday to the Wabasha County Board of Commissioners was incumbent Mike Wobbe who represents the fourth district.
Denise Anderson also filed for Wabasha County auditor-treasurer.
