Morning Headlines with Paul Lundquist on KWNO
Longtime Winona City Councilman Gerry Krage filed for another 4-year term Wednesday.
Krage is the longest serving councilmember. He was first elected in 1986. He joins other incumbents Michelle Alexander and George Borzykowski, who filed on Monday for re-election.
Incumbent Steve Schild filed for re-election to the Winona Area Public School Board. He represents District One. Three other incumbents had not filed yet including board chair Mohamed Elhindi , and at-large members Ben Baratto and Jay Kohner.
All three incumbents on the Winona County Board, Wayne Valentine, Board Chair Marcia Ward, and Jim Pomeroy filed for re-election Monday, so far, without opposition.
Winona County Recorder Bob Bambenek and County Attorney Karin Sonneman also filed for 4-year terms. Ron Ganrude and Rob Averbeck filed Monday for county sheriff.
A newcomer filed for the Goodview City Council Monday, Robert Kieselhorst filed for an at-large position along with incumbent Mike Alexander. Goodview Mayor Steve Baumgart also filed for a second 2-year term.
