Buffalo County Coordinator



The Buffalo County Board of Supervisors unanimously authorized a new job description and the employment of a full-time county administrative coordinator.

The board will seek an experienced applicant with at least 10 years in management and five years or more working in county government.
    
A job description says the county board wants a coordinator to serve as the county's chief operating officer under the direction of the board and chairperson.

Duties described in a description used by the prior county board were amended, revised and clarified by new board committees.

The county board agreed to accept job applications until July 1 and decided to contact five candidates that applied for the job last year to see if they were interested in reapplying.
