Gypsy Moth Spraying

Some Trempealeau and Eau Claire county residents will see and hear loud, low-flying planes as early as sunrise Tuesday as planes again will be spraying for gypsy moth caterpillars.
The objective is to slow the westward spread of gypsy moth, invasive and destructive pests that feed on the leaves of many species of trees and shrubs.
Aerial treatments were completed as scheduled Saturday in Sawyer, Richland and Jackson counties. Weather permitting, spraying continues Tuesday, June 3rd in Jackson, Dunn, Barron, Trempealeau and Eau Claire counties.
