I-90 Rest Area

Limited service will be available for about 10 weeks at the High Forest Rest Area on eastbound Interstate 90 near Rochester as it undergoes construction work to improve accessibility and facilities.
According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, construction work is set to begin Monday at the High Forest Rest Area, about 7 miles west of the Stewartville exit, which also serves Rochester.
Temporary portable toilets will be available to travelers, but there is no running water during the construction period. Parking is restricted to the truck parking lot during the construction, which is expected to be completed in August.
