Brad Berzinski is stepping down as the Winona High athletic director to take another position within the Winona Area Public Schools. Berzinski’s resignation was approved last night at the Winona Area Public School board meeting and he now will become the next principal at W-K elementary school. He will be serve as the W-K principal for 80 percent of the time and he will be the assistant high school principal for 20 percent.
Berzinski served as the athletic director for two years taking over for Clark Jones who was at Winona High for just one year. Berzinski says he thought he’d be the AD longer, but he has always wanted to be a principal and he couldn’t pass up on this opportunity.
