School Board-Bullying Complaints

A pair of parents spoke before the Winona Public School Board Thursday during the public comment portion, bringing attention to what they described as the bullying of their children this past school year.

Darcy Mosecki, whose daughter was in 9th grade this past year, described several incidents of alleged bullying.

Susan, the mother of a 3rd grader named Devante, told the board he was often made fun of for being black and called names.

Board Chair, Muhomed Elhindi, told the parents the board has zero tolerance for this kind of issue and their words will be followed up on.
