Two family members are facing felony charges of financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult in Winona District Court.
Court documents filed Tuesday indicate 60-year-old Deborah Pearl Clegg and 57-year-old Teresa Sue Forsyth, sisters, are accused of misappropriating nearly $150,000 from their father's account prior to the father's death.
The documents indicate the two were given power of attorney over the father but were not authorized to remove any funds from the father's account for themselves.
A third person, identified as 63-year-old Robert Bohnoff, was also named in the criminal complaint.
The two sisters are facing multiple counts of financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult and theft by swindle. Bohnoff is accused of theft by swindle.
