Levers Sentenced

A Dodge, Wisconsin man has been sentenced to 12 months in jail and four years of probation after entering a plea agreement on multiple charges of burglary and theft in Buffalo County.

25-year-old Vincent Levers, pleaded guilty to two felony counts of burglary. Eight other charges were dismissed and entered into the court record for sentencing purposes.

Criminal complaints named Levers in three burglaries, four thefts, damage to property, disorderly conduct and receiving or concealing stolen property.

Television sets were twice stolen from a senior citizen apartment building dayroom in Cochrane as well as a TV cable box owned by Cochrane Telephone Company.

A 50-inch screen TV was stolen during a burglary of Roadhouse Bar in the town of Milton, which Levers sold. Police said the TV was recovered.  

Circuit Judge James Duvall ordered Levers to pay restitution and court costs. Levers was credited for time already served in jail.
