The Winona Port Authority will be asked next Thursday to take action on a pair of items in connection to the Highway 43 bridge project in Winona.
The Authority will hold a public hearing on the sale of four parcels of land to the Minnesota Department of Transpoirtation which lie in the bridge right-of-way.
In addition, the Authority will be asked to take an action that will allow Minn-DOT to purchase the property currently owned by the AmericInn Hotel which also lies in the right-of-way.
Also, the Authority will be asked to approve an agreement that will allow the U-S Army Corps of Engineers to deposit about 60-thousand cubic yards of Mississippi River dredged materials on 4-point-5 acres in Technology Park which lies east of the Menard's store. Some of the sand would be used as fill for future projects in the industrial park.
Thursday's meeting will be at City Hall at 4:00 p.m.
