The Winona County Board of Commissioners will get an update on Tuesday on the Destination Medical Center expansion project in Rochester involving the Mayo Clinic.
A representative will be on hand to point out the benefits of the multi-million dollar 20-year program and its benefits to this area,
Commissioners will also discuss he re-appointment of board chair Marcia Ward to another 5-year term on the Southeastern Minnesota Multi-County HRA Board.
In addition, the county board will be asked to discuss proposed changes in national rules governing waters and tributaries in Minnesota which have been deemed unclear and confusing.
During a committee of the board meeting, after the regular meeting, the board will further discuss a draft outline of the duties and responsibilities the next county administrator will have to follow before a new administrator is hired.
Tuesday's meeting is at 9:00 a.m. at the County Government Center and is open to the public.
