A stakeholders meeting will be held next week to seek ideas about redeveloping a vacant property in downtown Winona that remains from last September's fire that destroyed two other buildings.
Dave Bittner with Winona Main Street says a special Texas consultant will be in town to help the city out with the property at Third and Center Streets that now lies vacant.
Bittner says the consultant will take the suggested ideas and produce a rendering of a building that could be constructed and that will help in getting cost estimates.
The vacant property formerly housed the Winona Islamic Center where the September 13th fire started. The Center has not re-located back there.
