A meeting next week to discuss the future of some vacant properties in downtown Winona following last September's fire will be open to the public.
Winona Main Street is bringing in a special consultant from Texas who already has been examining the area from afar. But now City Planner Carlos Espinosa says the consultant wants a closer look.
Espinosa says a number of stakeholders are being invited to the meeting and will have a say in the proposed reuse of the properties.
The properties in question formerly housed the Winona Islamic Center and the Brosnahan Law Firm.
The meeting will be next Tuesday, July 16th, at City Hall at 5:30 p.m. and it is open to the public.
