State Trust Fund Loans

The Board of Commissioners of Public Lands Tuesday approved slightly more than 11.9 million dollars in State Trust Fund Loans to support six municipal projects in Wisconsin.

Loans approved include the Town of Bangor in La Crosse County. They will receive $32,475 to finance road grader repairs.

The City of Mondovi in Buffalo County will get $440,000 to refinance WRS pension liability and purchase trucks.

State Trust Fund Loan funds come from the principal of the state's Common School Fund, which is enhanced by revenues generated by fees, fines, forfeitures, unclaimed property and timber sales.
