The Winona County Board of Commissioners Tuesday will hold a closed session to discuss a discrimination claim filed by former Winona County administrator Duane Hebert who was fired in May.
Hebert filed the claim with the Minnesota Department of Human Rights for alleged violations of statutes governing protections against discrimination because of a marital situation or actions of a spouse.
The closed meeting will follow the board's regular meeting which starts at 7:00 p.m. at the County Government Center.
During the regular meeting the board will hold a public hearing on proposed changes to the county's zoning ordinance.
In addition, the board will continue discussions on the hiring process for a new county administrator, and the job description and responsibilities of the next administrator.
