The City of St. Charles is looking at ways to solve a deer problem.
The City Council this week addressed a letter from a resident asking for
help in dealing with an abundant deer population.
The Rochester Post Bulletin reports City Administrator Nick Koverman has met with a local conservation officer for advice on the problem and is gathering information.
It appears the problem stems from some residents feeding the deer and attracting them to the city. He said the cities of Red Wing and Rushford have been experiencing the problem too.
Koverman says he needs to talk with St. Charles residents to gauge how serious the problem is.....
