Rushford Street Project

Traffic entering Rushford has become a little more complicated after the Highway 43 bridge on the city's north side closed this week.

It's part of the 3-million dollar reconstruction of Main Street through the downtown area that is also Highway 43.

Residents are being reminded that the bridge will remain closed until the project comes to an end, probably in November,

The Tri-County Record reports trucks can still make deliveries from I-90 to locations on the north side of the closed bridge.

Motorists are also being reminded to use the detour route along Highways 76 and 16 in order to access the city from the north.
