The Friends of the Refuge Headwaters are sponsoring a train ride through the Tiffany Bottoms Wildlife Area in Buffalo County on Saturday, September 20th, from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. It's a rare opportunity to travel through the Tiffany Wildlife Management Area on-board an antique motor car riding on rails laid in 1882. The train will make a round-trip of approximately 14 miles. Reservations are required by calling 494-6234. A fee of ten dollars a person will be charged for the tour. The train is operated by the Chippewa Valley Motor Car Association. The Tiffany Bottoms State Natural Area is a small portion of the most extensive river delta in the Midwest and contains a representative portion of the larger Tiffany Bottoms floodplain forest.
