Additional criminal charges may be coming soon in connection with the incident in Lewiston on July 23rd that left one man in the hospital and another in jail.
Winona County Chief Deputy Ron Ganrude said his department plans to meet with the county attorney's office Friday to discuss the investigation.
Unconditional bond was set at $100,000 for 26-year-old Jacob Loveless of Winona who was the driver of a vehicle that struck a second man in Lewiston alley. Loveless was formally charged with felony second degree assault.
The incident followed a fight that took place at a Lewiston apartment between four men.
Ganrude said a Lewiston man, who was struck by a wooden pole at the apartment, was hospitalized with serious injuries following the incident. Two other men were also being investigated......
