The Levee Park Steering Committee will host a special workshop on Thursday, August 21st, with a consultant who will aid the group in its plans for updating the park.
The event will be held in City Council Chambers at City Hall from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The agenda calls for the consultant, from Madison, Wisconsin, to review with the committee the Riverfront Plan and help identify unresolved issues and suggest how to deal with them.
The day will include a site visit to the Levee Park.
The purpose of the workshop is to engage in a dialogue that will provide an overview of the project's history,define expectations and familiarize stakeholders with the project's intent, plus identify an validate goals.
A summary meeting will be held at City Hall from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m.
