School Board

The Winona Area Public School Board Thursday received tentative good news concerning this fall's enrollement numbers.

Director of Finances, Sarah Slaby, told the board that actual enrollement is about 79 students more than projected, with the exception of 12th grade, which is down about 21 projected students.

Board member Jean Nelson asked if there was something more that could be done to keep the students in school so they can graduate.

The current enrollment for the 2014-2015 school year is estimated at 3,150 students.
