You can expect some traffic days on the Winona Highway 43 bridge next week for two days.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation says that's because traffic in each direction on the bridge will be down to one lane controlled by flaggers.
This will allow for the maintenance and inspection of the future rehabilitation project involving the current bridge.
The work will last both Monday and Tuesday and will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. both days.
Crews will be testing some of the anchorages to the scour monitoring system and the system itself will be inspected by officials to assist in the work that will take place on the bridge once the new bridge is completed.
The new bridge is scheduled to open in 2016.
Bridge traffic is expected to be back to normal next Wednesday.....
