County Board

The Winona County Board of Commissioners Tuesday will be asked to approve a new three-year agreement with the county's courthouse worker's union calling for a total seven percent salary increase.

The proposed contract is retroactive to January First of 2014 and extends through 2016.
The employees will get a 2% increase in both 2014 and 2015, and a 3% increase in 2016.

The proposed contract comes under consent business whose items normally do not get any discussion.

Under general business, the board will hear an annual update from the Minnesota Inter-County Association.

And..during a committee-of-the-board meeting following the regular meeting, board members will continue their discussions on the 2015 proposed budget.
The regular meeting starts at 7:00 p.m, at the County Government Center.
