Morning Headlines with Paul Lundquist on KWNO
The Winona County Board has approved an agreement with O-R-C Industries to do the laundry for The Sheriff's Department.
O-R-C is currently operating a new commercial laundry business and will save the county some money. That's because the Sheriff's Department's appliances need replacing and new ones will not have to be purchased.
Both Board Chair Marcia Ward and Commissioner Jim Pomeroy called the arrangement beneficial to both the county and O-R-C clients.
O-R-C Industries already has a contract for laundry services for Winona Health.
