Junior kicker Carter McCauley helped the Winona State Warriors (4-1, 1-0 NSIC South) pull off a 34-31 upset over #19 ranked Minnesota State Mankato (3-2, 0-1 NSIC South) Saturday, hitting a 29-yard field goal as time expired.

The Warriors scored the final ten points of the game, doing so in under three minutes, to earn the win.

The Winona State Volleyball team (14-2, 5-2 NSIC) completed a 2-0 home weekend with a sweep of Minnesota Crookston 3 games to 0. The Warriors held the Golden Eagles.  Winona State had 42 kills and just six errors while hitting .474.
