A former Rochester principal has been arrested on suspicion of possessing child pornography.
According to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Chanhassen High School Principal 44-year-old Timothy Dorway was taken into custody by agents from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Tuesday morning.
Dorway is a former principal at Rochester Mayo high school.
Search warrants were executed at Dorway's home and at Chanhassen High School prior to his arrest, as part of an
KARE-TV reports Eastern Carver County Public Schools Superintendent Jim Bauck said in a statement that Dorway has been placed on leave, and the school district is conducting a separate investigation.
