Police nabbed a 25-year-old Winona man Tuesday they believe was involved in as many as four different vehicle break-ins...and possibly more.
Deputy Police Chief Tom Williams said the initial call came in at 5:30 p.m. of a man being held by a homeowner who discovered the suspect in the homeowner's garage in the 500 block of Souix Street.
When the investigation was all over police had determined Jose Ramiro Martinez-Hernandez also was in possession of items taken from three other vehicles including a vehicle in the 350 block of Zumbro Street, plus two vehicles located on Sugar Loaf Road.
Williams said Martinez-Hernandez was also in possession numerous other items and investigators were attempting to find their owners. More charges may be filed against suspect in the case.
Marinez-Hernandez is facing initial charges of felony burglary in the third degree and possession of burglary tools.....
