C-FC Raises

Cochrane-Fountain City School employees were granted 3 percent raises under a payroll plan adopted by the school board.
Across-the-board 3 percent increases were authorized for teachers, supervisors, support staff and district office personnel.
Raises would increase the district's labor cost by $88,060, according to money numbers approved by the school board.
Most of it, $64,669, goes for teacher salaries, and $16,913 covers raises for support staff.
Support staff includes para professionals, principal secretaries, lunchroom cooks, custodians and bus drivers.
The school employs three district department supervisors and two employees in the district administration office.
The school board is still negotiating new contracts with two school principals, and recently signed a new contract agreement with superintendent Tom Hiebert that runs through the 2018-'19 school year.
