Following an impressive home win, the Winona State Warriors men's basketball team (11-13, 8-12) hosted their rivals, Minnesota State University Mankato Mavericks (18-8, 13-7) on their final home game of the season for senior night. Riley Bambenek's game high 28 points weren't enough as the Mavericks were victorious 69-68.

On senior night the Warriors women (20-6, 15-5 NSIC) rallied but weren't able to overcome the Mavericks on their home court as they fell 78-71 Saturday. It was chilly outside, but it was a heated night in McCown gym. Combined, the teams committed 45 fouls and shot 49 free throws.

The Warriors will play their last regular season games on the road next weekend at Augustana (20-6, 15-5 NSIC) and Wayne State (19-6, 14-6 NSIC).
