The Winona County fooshelves continue to seek donations during this annual March Foodshare food drive.
Winona Volunteer Services Executive Director Sandra Burke says things have been slow so far with a goal of $30,000 and 30,000 pounds of food.
Burke reminds folks that that they don't only rely on nonperishable food, but cash donations are also accepted.
In fact, a $15 cash donation can purchase some $50 in food. Burke says the foodshelves are there for anyone who may need some help.
Food and cash can be dropped off at Volunteer Services at 402 East Second during regular business hours.
The drive ends on April 2nd, but the deadline for making donations is March 31st.....
