SMITHVILLE, Mo. – Winona State shot a 311 on Saturday to take fourth at the 2017 NSIC Championships. Bentley Glass was the highest finished for the Warriors, tying for seventh. Jonathan Lindquist had the best third round score for WSU, and tied for tenth overall.
Benjamin Jasper shot a 78 on Saturday and tied for 16th with a three day score of 229. Austin van Sytzama shot a 79 and finished in a tie for 20th.
Lindquist had just two bogeys on Saturday, adding a birdie on the ninth hole. He finished even on the weekend on the par-5s.
The Warriors tied with MSU-Mankato with 159 pars on the weekend to lead all teams. Sytzama’s 35 pars was tied as the second most by any individual.
